us to restrict our movement to limited positions. It can also cause major problems in our
body if we pursue on doing physical activities. It can worsen the movements by inflicting
excruciating pain to the affected parts. It is dangerous to perform different stunts with
your physical injuries are inflected on the different part of your body.

Faraday’s Law
Exercises and Activities:
Activity 1: Choose Me!
Activity 2: Say It!
Activity 3: Solve Me!

Reflections:
Almost all of our modern devices uses the concept of electromagnetic induction, from our
cellphone to washing machine it is an essential application of concept. One of the process of
electromagnetic induction is producing an electric current using a moving magnet and coil. Same
concept on an credit card machine that needed to move the credit card on the cardholder’s bank
to produce electric current and initiate the process. It also necessary to swipe it because the card
contains a magnetic figure on it that will make the process starts and signal to proceed the
process. It is essential to have this concept in a credit card to avoid crimes like scams and
stealing.

Quarter 4- Weeks 7b
Lenz’s Law, Ac & DC, and LC Circuit
Exercises and Activities:
Activity 1: Lenz’s Law
Activity 2: True or False?
Activity 3: Choose Wisely
Activity 4: LC Circuit

Reflections:
The application of Lenz’s Law in metal detector allows the miners to get precious stones
and minerals easier and less life risking methods. It also increases the chance of making the job
easy, fast, safe, and successful. It can also identify potential spots for mining that will surely can
get them enough resources from it. It can provide a safe ground for miners that are risking their
lives for a stone and minerals. Lastly, these metal detectors could be a potential weapon to
change the mining system.

Entropy & free Energy
Exercises and Activities:
Activity 1: Changes in Entropy
Activity 2: Standard Entropy
Activity 3: Gibbs Free Energy

Reflections:
The second law of thermodynamics helps us to determine the direction in which energy
can be transferred. It also helps us to predict whether a given process or a chemical reaction can
occur spontaneously and it helps us to know equilibrium conditions. Heat cannot simultaneously
pass from a colder body to warmer body so when cups of hot milk are left on the table for a long
period of time, the drinks cool to the temperature of their surroundings by losing their heat. The
cooling processes occurs naturally without any external aid and is unidirectional. As per the
question, as heat flows from a warmer body to colder body as per to achieve equilibrium.

Quarter 4- Weeks 5B
Chemical Equilibrium and Le Chatelier’s
Principle

Exercises and Activities:

Activity 1: Changes in Entropy
Activity 2: Standard Entropy
Activity 3: Gibbs Free Energy

Reflections:
To adverse the effects of too much CO2 we should start from reducing the production
CO2. Engage ourselves from activities that reduces the number of CO 2 like tree planting and
using bicycle instead of some regular vehicles like cars and busses. As a SHS student, spreading
information like what is the effect of too much emission of Carbon Dioxide and what small
things we can do in our own things through social media platform making the people worldwide
knowledgeable about the situation we are in. Participating in different local organization that
promote environmental preservation and biodiversity’s resources conservation. Lastly, engaging
ourselves in technological advancement to invent successful innovations that could help us to
reduce the number of Carbon Dioxide emissions.

Quarter 4- Weeks 6A
Acid-base Equilibria
Exercises and Activities:
Activity 1: Comprehension Check
Activity 2: Acidic or Basic?

Reflections:
To maintain the pH balance in our body always drink 8-10 glasses of water and avoid
foods that is too much salty and acidic. Maintaining a healthy kidney is very essential for body
functions and life’s longevity. Avoid from keeping yourself to urinate and always maintain a
healthy body through proper and well diet and sleep. Don’t drink water when you are going to
sleep in order to give your kidney a time to rest and regenerate from certain diseases. Lastly,
educate yourself about the proper handling of your kidney and know your body well.
