The His Majesty’s Prison Welfare Association was created with the aim of lending support to members
when necessary and enhancing the relationship of the Prison with the Grenadian community. It is our
hope that through proper relations, the transition back into society for rehabilitated citizens will become
easier and rates of recidivism will decrease.

Recently, the decision was taken to create His Majesty’s Prison Sports Club, an organization specifically
charged with managing community relations and public partnerships for the benefit of the prison and
wider society, mainly through sporting events. These goals however, cannot be achieved without the
support of the public.

In the past, the Association organized an annual one-day cricket competition held at the prison grounds.
Scheduled for May 30, 2024, this years’ edition however, will be a partnership between the Association
and the Club, with the main goal being to attract greater visibility for the overall goals of both
organisations.

In this regard, we will be delighted if you are able to sponsor in part or in full, any of the following prizes:

- First Place – $1,000.00

- Second Place - $500.00
- Third Prize – $300.00
- Fourth Place - $150.00
