TOPIC 6: USE OF ICT TOOLS FOR TEACHING AND LEARNING

REFLECTION

1. How ICT tools used in education?

Answers: ICT tools has high contribution to the quality lessons and education in general, it is aid
to increase students’ motivation. ICT tools are both used by students and teachers. ICTs videos,
computers, internet, audio etc. maybe used for presentation or demonstration like how we use
power points, word documents, and video presentations using television for educational
purposes. Also internet and computer are so much useful in communication, collaborative
learning and research purposes. With the use of ICT information and education are much
accessible now; browsing in the internet can lead you to answers. In school we can see a huge
usage of ICT in computer laboratory as example. And now we’re making the most use of ICT
since we are doing online classes.

2. What are the benefits of ICT in education?

Answers: ICT makes learning a lot interesting and motivating to students especially when they
have the resources to use, it also makes education easier because of so many information
available in the internet. Applying ICT to education makes students computer literate and ready
for office works also for teachers it helps them with their lessons making, class demonstration,
and even in computing grades.
