N2P - CW-02-03 Install Pit (ACM) - v6
This document outlines the minimum requirements for submitting acceptable As-Built Geotagged evidence
for activities involved with the nbn N2P Project. The purpose of this document is to ensure that correct
photographs of suitable quality are supplied by Service Stream (SS) Service Partners (SP) at the time of
build completion. This is to assist in providing accurate evidence of installation and to enable quality audit
to be conducted on work completed.
Requirements
All Photographic evidence must be:
● Geotagged - Include metadata, address, latitude, longitude, orientation, date & time.
● Clearly display the quality of the works with enough illumination to easily identify subject matter (e.g.:
no harsh shading, blurry).
● Images are to reflect the works as they progress – Start, Middle and completion of works.
A Photo showing the placement of the Asbestos Management collateral into the Letter Box
of all impacted properties (in accordance with ServiceStream SWMS’s). Geotagging details of
this photo must indicate the correct notification period has been supplied to property owners in
accordance with the ServiceStream ACM SWMS requirements.
NOTE: Photo(s) MUST evidence the Property Street Address Number on Letter Box

away, and MUST include a reference point in the background e.g. path, road, premises,

Note:
Photo(s) “ACM-4” must evidence the reason necessitating replacement in accordance
with nbn Build Standard - Pit and Manhole Remediation (NBN-CON-STD-3188).
Further accepted examples shown on next page:
ACM-5: Photos evidencing the correct barricading around the ACM Pit (worksite):
Displays an internal work zone with signage and exclusion zone barrier, there needs to be a 1-
meter gap between the two zones.
ACM-6: Photos evidencing the correct wearing of PPE (Whilst at work Site):
ACM-7: Photos evidencing conducting Asbestos Removal (inside barricaded worksite and
wearing correct PPE):
ACM-8: Photographs of the ACM waste bags containing the removed ACM and used PPE.
The label details must be clear and include both the location and date of removal:
ACM-9: Photograph of the completed “Telco Asbestos Removal Control Plan – ACM Only”:
Note: A scanned PDF copy is also acceptable, providing all relevant information has been
completed on BOTH pages.

ACM bin storage registers etc:

The following photographs are required for the subsequent installation of the new Pit.
The Pit installation activity is claimed under the “CW-02-01” series SOR’s.

ACM-11: Photo evidencing the required 100mm of Bedding material before pit is installed.
Note:
The bedding material must evidence either:
sand, stabilised sand, fine crushed rock or an
equivalent non-moisture absorbing granular
material. Photos that indicate standard soil used
as the bedding material are not acceptable.

ACM-16: Photographs of the remediated pit, clearly showing no ACM debris has been left at
the site and that reinstatement meets appropriate nbn build quality standards:

Photos must not indicate the presence of any potential ACM debris onsite – the
following are examples of unacceptable remediation showing potential ACM debris
onsite:
Failure to ensure removal of all ACM debris will result in a CRITICAL HSE
Defect being issued – for which you must rectify IMMEDIATELY at your
own cost.
