Title: Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until
smooth and fluffy.

Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then, stir in the vanilla extract until
well combined.

In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a smooth dough forms.

Gently fold in the semisweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet,
spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.

Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes
before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy your freshly baked chocolate chip cookies with a glass of milk or your favorite hot beverage!
