Characterization & Monologue Unit

This unit will teach you how to act…well, at least how you should act. During this unit
you will create a character based on a monologue you choose, develop that
character using your imagination and insight into your monologue, and finally perform
your monologue as your character. You may choose to research information or just
work through using context clues (or both!) Throughout the unit you will complete
several assignments and projects inside and outside of class to help develop your
character and make your performance more believable. Below is a TENTATIVE TIMELINE
to follow as we move through the unit.
