Subject: Operating Supplies

Policy

All operation supplies will be order by way of the standard materials requisition procedures

Purpose

To ensure purchasing of operating supplies is conducted in a cost-effective way. The store


room will always keep a specific amount of operating supplies. The correct requisition and
issuing of products facilitated the operation of this area.

Procedure

Each outlet will have a minimum working par stock that will be replenished when necessary.
As operating supplies is a controllable cost, it is of utmost importance that the Outlet
Manager carefully monitors and control the usage of all operating supplies in order to
minimize cost and maximize profit.
