KERALA & MAHE AND LAKSHADWEEP

SUMMARY: Rain occurred at a few places in Kerala and dry weather prevailed over Lakshadweep. The chief amounts of
rainfall reports in cm are: Konni (Pathanamthitta district) 3, Kanjirappally (Kottayam district) 2 and Kottayam,
Ambalavayal (Wayanad district), Irikkur (Kannur district), Paripalli AWS (Kollam district), Kundala Dam AWS (Idukki
district) & Lower Sholayar AWS (Thrissur district) 1 each. No Large Change in maximum temperature over Kerala
during the past 24 hours. However it was appreciably above normal in Palakkad & Kollam districts, above normal in
Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram & Thrissur districts and it remained normal
elsewhere over Kerala. Palakkad recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.1°C.
