To Whom It May Concern,

It is my pleasure to highly recommend Kaelyn Burnett to be employed as a teacher

in your district. My name is Christine Silvenis and I had the honor of working with
Kaelyn while she was at Sacred Heart School, where I am employed as a Kinder-
garten teacher. Kaelyn took a long-term substitute position in our fourth grade
classroom. I have almost forty years experience as an educator and Kaelyn is truly
a born teacher. She stands out as a hard-working and innovative educator.

Kaelyn accomplished all the goals we needed her to accomplish. She was in a self-
contained classroom where all subjects were taught. Kaelyn had good class man-
agement and she taught the objectives with enthusiasm and a solid knowledge of
what she was teaching. Her rapport was excellent with all the members of the
staff, including the administration. She also had a very professional relationship
with the fourth grade parents, and some were difficult; but Kaelyn handled all the
situations with maturity and grace.

I said I felt she was a born teacher, because this was the first classroom situation
Kaelyn was in and, being the teacher next door to her, I felt an experienced teacher
could not have done better. Kaelyn went on to do her student teaching in the fall
of 2023; but from March through June of 2023 she did an excellent job as our
fourth grade teacher. Your district would benefit by having her on your staff.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to email me at:

Respectfully yours,

Christine Silvenis
