Directions to carry out the term paper
 Term paper means conducting mini-research based on secondary data.
 Review relevant qualitative and quantitative data on the given topic.
 Use your own language to write the term paper (i.e. use the method of
paraphrasing or rephrasing). Don’t copy and paste from the already existing
literature.
 The size of the term paper: 20-25 pages
 Margins of the term paper: 1 inch indented from the top and left side, 0.6
inch indented from the bottom and the right side
 Alignment of the term paper: justify
 Font face of the term paper: Times New Roman
 Font size to be used:16 for 1st level titles, 14 for 2nd level titles, 13 for 3rd
level titles, 12 for 4th level titles (if any), and 12 for the text.
 The layout of the term paper: preliminary section should contain cover page
which contains name of the institution, title of the term paper, author,
submitted to, date, place; table of contents, list of tables (if any), list of figures
(if any), acronyms and abbreviations (if any). The main body of the term
paper should contain Chapter 1: Introduction (Background of the Study,
Statement of the Problem, Objectives of the Study, Research Questions, Scope
of the Study, Significance of the Study, Data Sources and Methods of
Analysis, Limitation of the Study, and Organization of the Term Paper. In
Chapters 2, 3, and 4, you break down your term paper topic into different 1 st
level, 2nd level, and 3rd level topics and make the analysis according to the
data you obtained from literature. Chapter 5: Conclusion and
Recommendations on the basis of your findings in chapters 2, 3, and 4.
 At the end: References using the correct referencing style as you have learned
in the course “Advanced Research Methods”
 Submission and presentation: two weeks before the course completion
