Execution of Marketing Week EVENT DETAILS Executive Board Activity Jim Reed Business 202 ~ 6:00-8:00P.M. EVENT EXECUTION Jim Reed led a teamwork activity specifically for our executive board to identify the strengths, weaknesses and perceived roles of the members of our board in order to unite us. Chicken Wing Fling Our annual fundraiser was held in the Business Annual Fundraiser School atrium, and featured wings donated by Business School ~ 6:00-9:00P.M. Dominos, Buffalo Wild Wings as well as other local Ithaca vendors like Napolis and ICO. Career Corner & Job Discussion Career Corner was a campus-wide event promoted Jim Reed by ICAMA in which Jim Reed discussed interview Textor 101 ~ 5:00-7:00P.M. questions, self-branding and job research. General Meeting w/ Jim Reed Business 103 ~ 7:00-8:00P.M. Photoshop Workshop Jane Chen Park 275 ~ 5:00-6:00P.M. Local Political Campaigning Robert Flaherty Business 202 ~ 5:15-6:00P.M. Jim Reed presented at our weekly general meeting and discussed motivation, community involvement, as well as the benefits of being an AMA member. This introductory workshop, run by a certified instructor, was an opportunity for students with or without experience with Photoshop to learn the basics of the design software. The Communications Director for NYS Assemblywoman Barbara Lifton and Adviser to Ithacas Svante Myrick discussed marketing communications in political campaigns.

Ithaca College American Marketing Association Marketing Week 2011 Fri. Oct.14 Cause Marketing and Baseball William Ressler Park 270 ~ 2:30-3:30P.M. How does Baseball relate to cause marketing and community service? Students found out at this discussion of cause marketing and its affect on the local and global community.

Evaluation of Marketing Week Jim Reed was the highlight of the week! Students and professors alike enjoyed his visit Created events specific to each of the 5 distinct ICAMA groups: Market Research = Chicken Wing Fling Prof. Development = Career Corner Ad/Graphic Design = Photoshop Exceeded $600 benchmark for Chicken Wing Fling and raised over $900! Provided 5 campus-wide, well-organized professional development events Enhanced skills of 10 members through specialized Photoshop workshops Exposed members to 2 new areas of marketing: political campaigns and cause marketing Boosted AMA attendance to 32 at Career Corner due to its registration as a Student Leadership Institute (SLI) credit, which many majors and scholarships require Tracked event effectiveness, especially Chicken Wing Fling, by administering surveys All events were offered SLI credits and had flier, email, online and WOM promotions Fundraising = Local Political Campaigning Community Service = Cause Marketing

Marketing Mondays We enjoyed this years Marketing Week so much that we wanted to make every week of the academic year Marketing Week. In an effort to continue the professional development of our organization and of the student body in general, we have decided to hold an event every Monday with a professional in the field of marketing. Marketing Mondays benefit our members by introducing them to new concepts of marketing, professors and alumni, as well as new bounds of
