Subject: Rising cases of road accidents.

Sir
Through the column of your esteemed daily, I wish to draw the attention of the authorities
against the road accidents which have become a daily routine. I am very much disturbed and
perturbed about the injuries caused to the children and aged due to underage, rash and
reckless driving.

Reckless and rash driving have become a fashion these days. It is a regular nuisance and a
great danger to the school- going children as well as the old person as they cannot cross the
road quickly. Some of the streets in our locality are very busy and overcrowded. Even then,
the motorist drives their vehicle recklessly. Accidents are almost an everyday occurrence
caused by either underage, rash, or reckless driving. The drivers knock down the people and
escape.

The police and traffic authorities are hereby requested to take some concreate measures. The
offenders brought to book so that they may never repeat the offence again. Fines can be
imposed Unless strict action is taken and a sharp eye is kept on such law breakers, people
cannot heave a sigh of relief.

Yours truly
Bansri/ Babloo Kapoor
