o Rules

2.) DRAW IT

3.) FACTS
 Ethics is rooted out from the Greek word ‘Ethos’, which means manner or
character.
 Philosophy is also coined from the Greek word ‘phílos’, which means love
and ‘sophía’, which means wisdom. And together, they meant love for
wisdom.

4.) WHAT I LEARNED

 I learned that Ethics is a branch of philosophy that pertains about the logical
or philosophical understanding of the human.
 Ethics is only for human because we are the ones who are able to have a
rational and logical thinking.
 That we have a natural law and the first law from it is the right to live.
 And what are the aspects of rules for us social being.

5.) WHAT CONFUSES ME

 Nothing for now. Maybe the concept of right and wrong. What makes a thing
right and wrong? What are the standards? Is it from the religion, the society,
or just from the people’s subjective ideas?

6.) EXAMPLES
 Ethnocentrism – It is how you understand and perceive another culture basing
on one’s own standards or culture. For example, a certain rule of killing a
child molester of a certain country or government is extremely unacceptable
to the catholic people.
