Report on Constitution Day

Under the azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the National Service Scheme of Vivekananda College, University
of Delhi organised a film screening session and an article writing competition on the occasion of
Constitution day i.e 26th Nov, 2021.

Article Writing Competition :

An Article writing competition was organised on the occasion of the National Constitution Day. The theme
of the competition was "There is a need to make required amendments in the Constitution to keep it's pace
with the changing society." The article could be in either English or Hindi and should have a word limit from
400 to 500 words. Many students and NSS volunteers from various colleges participated and sent us their
entries. There were a total of 10 entries.

Film Screening, Online Quiz and Reading of Preamble:

Two short films were presented on 26th November 2021. These films were very informative and gave us
an overall idea about Constitution Day and its history. Through these films, we were able to get the
knowledge about the significant incidents and the important people who made it all possible.
Afterwards we had a discussion and everyone gave in their views and what they learnt from that video.
Around 29 participants made this event successful. Besides of it all the participants read the preamble to
the constitution and took part in online Quiz on constitutional Democracy.
