In a world filled with pressures and expectations, maintaining a positive self-image is essential for personal
well-being and fulfillment. Here are some strategies to help cultivate and nurture a healthy self-image:
1. Practice Self-Compassion:
Embrace yourself with kindness and understanding, especially during times of self-doubt or struggle. Treat
yourself as you would a friend, offering words of encouragement and support. Remember that nobody is
perfect, and it's okay to make mistakes or face challenges along the way.
5. Practice Self-Care:
Prioritize activities that nourish your mind, body, and spirit. Engage in regular exercise, maintain a
balanced diet, get enough sleep, and engage in hobbies or activities that bring you joy and fulfillment. Taking
care of yourself holistically enhances self-confidence and self-worth.
7. Embrace Authenticity:
Embrace your authentic self and honor your values, interests, and passions. Avoid comparing yourself to
others and instead focus on your own journey and growth. Accept yourself fully, including both your
strengths and areas for improvement.
Remember, maintaining a positive self-image is an ongoing journey that requires patience, self-awareness,
and intentional effort. By practicing self-compassion, focusing on your strengths, setting realistic goals,
surrounding yourself with positivity, practicing self-care, challenging negative thoughts, and embracing
authenticity, you can cultivate a strong and resilient sense of self-worth and positivity.
ACTIVITY
1. Reflect on your perception of yourself, considering both personality traits and physical attributes.
2. Take a photo that captures how you maintain a positive self-image. This could involve showcasing your
unique qualities, embracing your individuality, or engaging in self-care practices.
3. Craft a thoughtful caption to accompany your photo, highlighting the importance of self-acceptance and
authenticity.
4. Share your photo on Facebook, ensuring to include the hashtags #perfectlyME and #NONAISHI in your
post so that others can view and engage with your contribution.
I will check your posts later at 3 PM. If you are not comfortable to share this on social media, you may opt to
send Kjay Naynay your picture with Caption.
Thank you.
