CONCEPT
Designing a fishing vest and bag for pond hopping with integrated
hydration and storage solutions to enhance comfort and convenience.
Development

The creation of the fishing vest and backpack started with concept sketches and brainstorming to investigate
potential designs. While ideations produced creative possibilities, the initial sketches concentrated on pocket
arrangement and hydration system integration. During this process, comfort, convenience, and practicality
characteristics were added to the design to better suit the needs of pond-hopping anglers.
Prototype
Planning the fishing vest prototype allowed me to gain practical experience and learn about the craft of
pattern design. To make sure the vest's many parts—pockets, straps, and ventilation panels, for example—
fit together perfectly, I learned how to design patterns for them. I learned through trial and error how
crucial it is to create patterns with accuracy and attention to detail because even the smallest mistakes
can have a big impact on the vest's ultimate fit and usefulness.

The fishing vest has many of pockets and compartments to hold necessary items like hooks, lines, and lures. It was made to
be lightweight and breathable. It should also have a comfortable design that makes casting motion simple. Complementing
the vest, the fishing bag should provide extra room for storing bulky items like tackle boxes, reels, and snacks. To withstand
the hardships of outdoor fishing experiences, the vest and backpack should be strong and waterproof.

CONCEPT
Design an end table to accommodate new
innovations of tech and ease of use feasibility
During our ideation or sketching
phase we created multiple variations
of how we thought our end table
would look and function different

to fit the theme of cer tain spaces
and certain lifestyles. This concept was a twist with conceptorary dessign and
multi purpose functionality with a lighting source through
the middle. When designing this end table finding a way to
create stability we thought that adding a weight of some
sort to counter balance the end table which is smaller in
stachure than concept one.

This concept model we wanted to have a
simplistic design that can accomodate new
tech with wireless charging areas and cup
holders.

The last concept was designed to provide a

natural and straightfor ward look into any place.
With many people liking circle tables, this was
a reason for the design the ability to store small
items and even large ones like blankets.

CONCEPT
Design a self-watering planting pot that helps make keeping
a plant alive easy and has a clean aesthetic design.
Research
Many people like buying plants for many reasons, they like to have a nice aesthetic in their
space or because they like what plants do for us; those are just a few examples. Everyone likes
them initially, but with time we begin to forget about the plants, which could be due to various
reasons like having to be at work all the time, being forgetful, or being lazy. Once the plant starts
turning a certain color, we begin to think it’s dying and begin to forget about the plant. Plants
need care depending on the plant, but ensuring that you are doing that is important to keep
your plant alive.

"the average plant parent has killed seven indoor plants they have brought
home. And 67% of them call themselves plant murderers".
Development
Ideation and prototyping were used in the development of the self-watering pot. The first concept
had been a regulated release water system. After testing prototypes to increase their usefulness
and efficiency, a final design successfully waters plants according to their requirements.

CONCEPT
The goal of the project is to be able to disassemble a pair of shoes and
reassemble them using newly acquired supplies to make a new shoe. To
assist them in creating a shoe

Utilizing a pattern reuse technique, the goal is to create a shoe manufacturing

process that reduces material waste and production costs. In order to
accomplish particular results, such as waste reduction and cost savings,
within a specified timeframe of one year, this aim underlines the purpose
of implementing a pattern reuse strategy in the shoe
Disect
I noted how each shoe component—from the robust sole to the fine upper stitching—fitted together
when I disassembled it. I now have an even greater appreciation for the shoe's construction because of
the method, which demonstrated the careful planning and skill that went into its creation.
Prototype
Making a shoe prototype is an essential aspect of the design process, as it helped me understand
how to disassemble a shoe, use the knowledge I gained, and try to replicate it through trial
and error. This hands-on experience not only enhanced my technical skills but also deepened
my understanding of the intricacies involved in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing
footwear.
i
FDesign
nal
I was able to use these insights to guarantee a better result for the finished model. I was more
careful in my selection of materials, choosing ones that would improve the shoe's durability and
performance. Based on my prior experience, I also improved the construction process by introducing
more effective techniques. Using the knowledge I had gathered from the prototype, I was able to
create a final model that more closely complied with my standards and design objectives.
