D.STATISTICAL TREATMENTS:
According to the calculations we made, 50% of the GRADE 10 Harmony have only 25
pesos for daily allowance. The results of calculations indicates that most of the students
had insufficient allowances. Students with less allowance is having hard time keeping
up with the financial issues due to projects and activities outside the school. Since
projects cause the students money to purchase the materials, making them unable to
buy the foods they must eat to gain the nutrition they need. Being unable to eat enough
foods and if this continues for a long time, they can have a slurred speech, confusions,
syncope(fainting), or seizures. Prolonged lack of nutrition can lead to severe wight loss,
fatigue, depression, and stomach issues (Ellen Linder). Having all of these issues, the
school had to offer a daily 60 pesos for every Grade 10 Harmony. To make sure that all
of the allocated money for the students is being spent in a way that it should be, The
PNHS will give a receipt or Card of Purchase, be food or any materials inside the
school. They should keep the Card of Purchase until the allowances is depleted. Later
on, this card would stand as their past slip. The students had to turn over the excess
money to the school. To make sure this process is possible, the PNHS must have the
enough facilities to sell the materials the student needs since they won’t be able to go
outside the school. Lastly, School Guard waiting in the gate of the school for inspection
of the Card of Purchase. In this way the student will surely spend all the money for their
necessities. The advantages of PNHS’s providing allowances for students is the
following;
The Grade 10 students won’t have to think about the financial problems and they
should be able to focus in their studies head on.
The students could have the nutrition they need for sufficient energy to cope with
the activities in school
