Summary of Interview done with personnel at the intervention facility.

1) Inclusive Education - It is stated that this involves creating an environment that

serves the diverse learning styles. This includes individualized teaching methods,

accessible resources and the support to each student. Additionally, embracing

acceptance and appreciation fosters an inclusive environment where all students

feel valued, loved and supported.

2) Psychological assessment- This is one of their greatest practices as it involves

knowing where each student stands. It includes observing and evaluating their

social, emotional and cognitive development. This is where an assessment

session is carried out by the main office for each student to assess their

challenges and strength from an early point. According to the interviewer,

parents and other stakeholders are often involved in the assessment for them to

gain an understanding of what each student requires.

3) Training of parents- In the midst of the interview it was also stated that a focus

is based on the parents aiming to equip them with skills and knowledge of how

to support their child and their child’s development. These skills includes:
communication, addressing behavioral problems and applying therapy

sessions. The goal also is to empower parents to actively participate in their

child’s progress and make them a supportive environment. A good relationship

he stated between parents and child is an effective way to this intervention.

1. Collaboration- The Ministry of Health (MOH) and Ministry of Education (MOE)

could take an initiative to help with the betterment of the institution. This makes them

3. Recommendation- Generate a communication system between staff which are the

early intervention professionals, parents and collaborating organizations.

Justification- A well developed communication system with aid in better

collaboration, ensuring that staff stay informed and align with the child's intervention

plan. This fosters a comprehensive approach to improve the outcome for the child.
