Living In Two Places

I am having a unique experience of living in two places at the same time. One of them is District
Seven, Ho Chi Minh city, where i am living and studying now. The other one is Phu Chanh Town, Binh
Duong, my hometown, where I come back every weekend. I was totally shocked when i percieved the
significant differences between two places at the first time.
The air condition is the most notable difference to be recognized. The atmosphere in the district is
extremely polluted. Whenever I drive on the road, I can easily witness the dust in the air, and smell the
unpleasant scent from the waste treatment center nearby. Moreover, trucks are constantly moving on the
roads which release huge amount of emissions into there air. As a result, the temperature is always high.
However, my hometown exhibits the opposite sides. the freshy clean air always boosts my feelings
whenever I come back to Phu Chanh. Besides, there are less vehicles and factories. This can be inferred that
there are less gas emissions released into the air. Consequently, the air is so clean that the local people never
where masks when they go out. Therefore, the air quaility of two areas can generally be differentiated.
On the one hand, the service is also an distinction between the big city and my countryside. In the
urban area, there are numerous convenient stores and supermarkets where I can purchase my daily consumer
goods. Besides, coffee shops and cinemas are the wonderful places which meet my entertaining demands.
The most considerable service must be the modern library in my university. This place reserves a wide range
of diverse books and documents which enable students to utilize for studying purposes. It also offers me
private studying spaces and even computers which are free of charge. In contrast, my hometown is less
morden than the city. Markets and groceries are really far away from my house, so my mom is forced to
travel 2 hours a day to buy food. Additionally, other services such as online banking and vehicle rental are
not as popular as they are in the city. Therefore, there is a big diffrence between the service in the
countryside and the city.
When I moved to the new city, I have experienced major distinctions. Although the urban area is
quite polluted, it provides me a lot of convenience which enhances the quality of my life. Meanwhile, my
hometown is still a unique place where I can enjoy the most pristine environment and ordinary lifestyle.
Together they keep me balanced.
