III. PROCEDURE

Pre-Reading Activities Time allotment

50 minutes
● Allow learners to select any reading materials to be read at home.

● If possible, ask some assistance from any member of the family while reading the
selection.

During Reading Activities

● Ask learners to read and understand what they are reading.

● Take note of the important details and be ready with the questions provided by the teacher.

Post Reading Activities 50 minutes

 On a sheet of paper, answer the following questions based on what they had read:

 Who are the characters in the story?


 Describe the setting of the story.
 Identify what kind of conflict was used in the story.
