SURVEY

I.Intoduction
Maintaining good personal hygiene is crucial for students' health, well-being, and overall
learning experience. In schools with early morning schedules, however, students may
face challenges in adhering to regular hygiene routines. In this survey, 30 respondents
from the Senior High School of DCPNHS have been randomly selected to participate in
this survey. This survey shown in the following section and was conducted during the
2nd semester of S.Y. 2023-2024 using Google Forms ©. A Likert Scale was used to
quantify the responses of the respondents, assigning the following scores for each
possible response: Always (3), Sometimes (2), Rarely (1), Never (0).

II. Results

Thirty (30) students from various specializations participated in this survey. Figure 2
summarizes the result.

The intention of the second statement is to gauge the respondents level sometie
resulting mean and Standard deviation from the
hygiene.The result showed that majority of the respondents where on the scale
of always. With (86.7%) students who always brush their teeth and (13.3%) who

results are (μ=2.8667), and (ò=1.0562) .This can be interpreted that the senior
high school students who participated in the survey has a good body hygiene.

The intention of the third statement is to gauge the respondents level of body hygiene.
The result showed that majority of the respondents where on the scale of always. With
(40%) students who always cut their nails, (40%) who sometimes trim their nails and
20% who rarely cut their nails. The resulting mean and Standard deviation from the
results are (μ=1.2666), and (ó=0.9977).This can be interpreted that the senior high
school students who participated in the survey has a good body hygiene.

III. Conclusion

Personal hygiene is how you take care of your body. Maintaining hygiene practices
reduces the spread of illness and risk of medical conditions caused by not taking care of
yourself. As shown on this survey majority of the respondents takes pride on how they
look, which is why most of the respondents to our survey always take a daily bath, wash
their teeth before school, and cut their nails. As this study makes clear, some students
occasionally chose rarely and sometimes but did not chose, never; as a result, majority
of the students practice proper hygiene daily.
