1. SCOPE
This plan is the instruction for practical use of JPEP for the job execution in LCE.

2. PRIORITY OF JPEP AND JOB SPECIFICATION

Descriptions of Job specification shall always have priority over the ones of JPEP.

3. JPEP APPLICABLE TO PIPING DESIGN

(1) JPEPs applicable to piping design are listed in attached JPEP LIST.
(2) JPEPs applied to job are classified to the following three type manuals (the classifications are shown by
putting ○ mark in the one column of “Application” on JPEP LIST).
(a) Apply as it is
(b) Apply with modification
(c) Reference only
(3) JPEPs not to be applied are shown by putting ○ mark in the “not applied” column of “Application” on
JPEP LIST.

4. MODIFICATION OF JPEP BASED ON THE REQUIREMENT OF THE JOB SPECIFICATION

(1) JPEP which has ○ mark’ in “Apply with modification” column of the JPEP LIST are modified in
accordance with the requirement of client or job specification.
(2) In case of that JPEP are modified in accordance with the requirement of client or job specification, the
contents of modification are shown by “Information of JPEP Modified Items” to be issued with this plan.
(3) In the “Information of JPEP Modified Items” the following items shall be shown.
(a) JPEP No. / Rev. No. / JPEP Title
(b) Item modified (title and no.)
(c) Contents of modification
(d) Reason of modification
(4) Key person (JGC) shall explain the contents of modification, if necessary, prior to the start of design work.
