Overview
Your planet is under attack. Using your fleet you must defeat all
incoming threat waves and save your planet. The game ends if you
defeat 21 threat waves or if you lose all 3 ships. After that you will 2
calculate your high-score.

Setup
1 Create Fleet Deck:

Take 3 Ship Cards and Destroyed Planet Card to C


create the Fleet deck. Put Destroyed Planet Card at
the bottom, then ships by number in ascending
order (Green, Blue and finally Red). Orientation of
the ship can be random. A

2 Create Threat Deck:

A Take 8 Threat Cards marked with the green
triangle. Turn 5 to the side with the orange
triangle and then shuffle all cards. Make sure
that triangles are always visible on the top part
of the cards. 3 Starting deck
B Take the Threat Card with the blue triangle
(choose any side), and put it on top of 9 cards
you just shuffled.

C Take all Threat Cards with the red triangle, pick


one and put it at the bottom of the Threat
deck. Return rest of the cards to the box.

3 Create Final Deck:

After you created both decks, put the Fleet Deck


on top of the Threat Deck.

Active Area

Each card has 4 possible orientations. The face-up top


section on each card is the active area and represents
the card’s current orientation.

During the game, you will guide your fleet and try to distroy
all incoming threats. To do so, you can execute regular and
special actions and use power-ups. You can combine all of
them in any order.

Regular Actions

Ships can execute 3-5 regular actions during each wave


(indicated by the battery on the action bar). It can be any
combination of the following actions:

Shoot
Destroy threat that is in-front of the ship’s
current position.

Note: Double threats require two shoot


actions to be destroyed.

Note: there is no way to track if threat is


destroyed, you will have to remember it. Move Action

Move
Move ship to one adjacent space by
rotating or fliping Ship Card.

positions by rotatin the card 180 degrees 2
(without fliping from front to back)

2 Move ship from the middle position to


the edge position or vice versa by flipping 1

Most of the threat waves also have a power-up that can !


be picked up and used in one of the next waves. 1

1 To pick up a power-up, you need to move


across space where power-up is located and also 2
successfully resolve all threats in that wave. You
don’t have to finish your turn on a power-up
space to pick it up. Discarding Power-up
2 After resolving the wave, pick resolved card
from the bottom of the fleet deck and put it
sideways as an active power-up. You can have up

to 3 power-ups. If you have more, discard one of


them. Make sure that your power-up level
" matches the current level (green/yellow triangle).

action) discard it by sliding it at the bottom of the
fleet deck. Make sure that card is oriented same
as active threat card.

In the game, you will encounter up to 21 threat waves. Starting Power-Up
During each wave you will use current ship’s actions and
power-ups to destroy active threat wave.

! First Wave:

Before starting the first wave, from the threat deck pick
one random card with the power-up icon and place it
sideways as your starting power-up. Also, reveal the top
threat wave card (indicated by blue triangle) by sliding fleet
deck down.

Subsequent Waves:

At the start of each wave, reveal top wave card of the


threat deck. You should have two visible threat waves
(incoming and active).

Resolving Wave
Success
After you executed all available actions, you need to resolve
the current active wave. If you manage to destroy all threats
in the active wave, that is success and if there are threats

that you can’t destroy that is failure. !

" Success:

1 Slide the Fleet Deck to cover the Active Threat Card.


If you moved across a power-up, you can pick it up.

# Failure:

1 You lose any unused power-ups by sliding them to the

After resolving current wave, start the new wave. 1

Major Threat 2

1 When you resolve the threat wave marked with the red
triangle (last card in the threat deck) flip that card horizontally
to reveal the major threat. Major Threat
2 Major threat is special and contains 3 threat waves. You must

resolve all of them to successfully defeat major threat. Waves
are resolved like the waves on normal threat cards, they just
span across multiple spaces.

Note: When you get to the second Major Threat it will be


revealed already.

1 If this was the first Major threat, rotate the whole deck 180 deg
and start the new wave.
2 After rotating the deck, reveal top two threats, same as for the
first round (there are no triangles on this side of the threat deck). Resolving Major Threat

If this was the secod Major threat, you defeated all threats and
saved your planet! !

Game end / Scoring
Game End
Game ends if you manage to defeat all threat waves or if you
lose all ships and exploded planet card is revealed.

Put remaining fleet deck cards at the bottom of the threat deck.
Rotate the deck so that the blue triangle is at the top part
of the card.

Now count the cards until you get to the first ship showing the
star in the top left corner (should be red ship x3) and ignore any
other ship cards. Multiply numbrer of cards by the number Victory Defeat
indicated on the ship.
Do the same for the other two ships.
When you get to the last card, rotate deck 180 degrees and
continue (Destroyed Planet card does not count).

If you defeated first Major Threat, add 5 points.


If you defeated second Major Threats add 10 points.
