Feed control, basic control

• With the Grayscale the feeder

can be only stopped from the
display

• With Color display the feeder

can be also started
• Enables alarms that require
operator attention (feed can be
started only from the display in
certain situation)

Feed control, automatic control
• With grayscale version the feed
control is made with event
counters. Counter parameters
are difficult to handle.

• Color version has PID controller

for the feed control. User sets
only the target value.
• There are still event counters for
digital level sensor and
secondary unit.
• Feeder’s bottom heater request
is brought to the display

Crusher speed control

• Crusher speed can be changed

from the slider controller

Parameter handling

• Every unit type has it’s own

parameter file
• Parameters are changed
only if the parameters are in
the new file when uploaded
• Parameter sets can be
saved and loaded
• Parameters can be also
downloaded to USB
memory

Removed Inquiry windows

• Complicated ( Expencive) to
implement
• Functions also with ”NO”
answer

• Belts are tensioned during the
crusher start up sequence
• Belts tensioning is set off after
the crusher has stopped

Improved diagnostics
• Temperature counters
• Feed control’s event log
• Force controls
• Push button test’s memory
function
• Faster log scrolling

Same IC system for all automated diesel
engine driven primary units

• No longer two quite similar systems in LT product family

• IC700 has LT60T and LT50T units’ features
- Old IC500 software is no longer developed
• Easier support and maintenance
• Easier implementation of future needs

TIER4 update

• New DPF decreases emissions

• Regeneration burns the soot from the

filter

• The law requires TIER4 feature at

beginning of the year 2011

• Feed can be started manually after

high soot load stop has trigged
