1. Greetings
Good morning class!
Everybody tap the shoulder of your classmates and greet
them, say good morning and how are you today?
Today, I will read lines from a reading text through Repeat
after Me approach, wherein I’m going to read a line first and
then you will repeat them with proper diction and intonation.
But before that let’s have a tongue twister as our practice.
A. Pre-Reading 15 mins (Tongue Twister)
Easy Round
Each Easter, Eddy eats eighty Easter eggs.

Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. How many
pickled peppers did Peter Piper pick?

B. During 35 mins 1. Setting Standards
Ok, now what are the standards we are going to follow in doing
our task?
*Listen attentively.

*Avoid making unnecessary noises
*Collaborate and participate in all the activities.
Class, I have here a reading text, which is all about Mang Pat &
His Cat.
Listen carefully first as I read each line and then after reading
the whole text, I will ask you to read it after me.
Mang Pat and His Cat
Mang Pat is a farmer.
He has a lot of crops.
He has a pet cat named Percy.
Mang Pat feeds his cat in a cage.
When he goes to the farm,
Percy goes along with him, too.
Percy helps him in his job by finding rats.
Mang Pat loves his cat and his farm to.
Now class, I will ask you to read the whole reading text correctly.

 Now let’s have the final performance. Let see on how you recite
the lines correctly. I will start it by reading the title and then
you’re going to do your part.
