PROJECT PRESENTATION INSTRUCTIONS-ICSE / ISC

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE STUDENTS

Do’s:

• Use blue and black gel pen only.

• Write in your best handwriting legibly and neatly.
• Write at least 20 lines in a page.
• Draw borders on all four sides using black pen only.
• Write and present the contents, pictures that are relevant to the topic.
• Numbering the pages on the bottom left hand corner is mandatory.
• Images / pictures / graph / tables / diagrams must be pasted / drawn on the left-hand
side of the project. Remember to draw a black thin border on all the four sides.
• Always use colored and clear images / pictures. Please do not use photocopied
images/pictures.
• Design your front page with your name, class, section, project title and pictures related to
the topic very neatly.
• Order of arrangement of topics of the project should be done according to the subject.
• Avoid grammatical errors and write in simple clear language.
• Submit your project on time. Plan your work and work your plan
• Class XII students will have a viva voce by external examiners during project
evaluation so be clear with your content.
• All projects must be spiral bound.
• Remember to attach the rubrics sheet for all Class X projects before sending for
spiral binding.

Don’ts:

• Avoid decorative items like stars, flowers or stickers.

• Do not scribble or overwrite.
• Avoid using whitener.
• Do not copy the exact information from the Internet. Use rational and logical thinking to
write only the relevant information pertaining to the topic.
• Do not use designs/patterns for the borders.
• Stick Files are not allowed for project presentation.
SUBJECT SPECIFIC INFORMATION:

MATH:

1. Acknowledgement must be mentioned in the second page.

2. Content must be presented neatly with picture / graph.
3. Conclusion / Result must be included.
4. Mathematical calculation is a must.
5. Bibliography must be mentioned in the last page.
6. Both the projects together must be not less than 40 to 45 pages.

HISTORY/GEOGRAPHY:

1. The project must not be less than 40 to 50 pages.

2. Divide the project into two using OHP/Color sheet (History & Civics).(Geography Project 1 &2)
3. Acknowledgement is very important.

CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS, HOME SCIENCE, BIOLOGY, ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION:

1. The order of arrangement of the project is as follows: Index,

Introduction, Presentation, Conclusion, and Bibliography.

COMMERCE, ACCOUNTS, ECONOMICS AND COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS:

1. Divide the project into two using colour chart paper.

2. Attach the provided Introduction Sheet, Acknowledgement and Certificate.
3. For the Accountancy Project the accounting calculations and the prescribed format are
mandatory.
4. For the Economics Project objectives and methodology of the study is must.
