Performance Of Teachers were considered as one of the important factors indetermining the quality of education. From the prelimanary study it was found that the performance Of Teachers of PAUD at District Koto XI Tarusan, Pesisir Selatan Regency was not has it should be. This conditions was presumed to be effected by several factors, two of wich concidered to be more dominat, pedagogical competency and transformasional leadership of headmaster. Therefore, this study was designed to investigate the contribution of the pedagogical competency and transformasional leadership of headmaster toward Teacher’s performance. There hypotesis were purposed, namely: (1) the pedagogical competency contributes toward teacher’s performance; (2) the transformasional leadership of headmaster contributes towards Teacher’s performance; and (3) the pedagogical competency and transformasional leadership of headmaster simultaniously contribute toward Teacher’s performance. The population of the study were 189 Teachers of PAUD at District Koto XI Tarusan, Pesisir Selatan Regency, inwhich 125 of them were selected as sample by using stratified proportional randam sampling technique. Data from three variables were collected by using Likert model questionnaires which were already tested their validity and realiability. The collected data were analilyzed statistically by using correlation and regression techniques with the use of SPSS Version 15. From the data analysis it was found that: (1) the pedagogical competency significantly contributed 19,2% toward teachers’ Teacher’s performance; (2) the transformasional leadership of headmaster significantly contributed 8,2% toward Teacher’s performance; and (3) the pedagogical competency and comunnication behavior simultaniously significantly vcontributed 24% toward teachers’ Teacher’s performance. This study concluded that teachers’ Teacher’s performance can be increased by increasing the pedagogical competency and transformasional leadership of headmaster of the teachers.
