Job Brief
We are looking to employ a business development manager with a strategic mind and the ability to
drive teams toward achieving set goals. A successful business development manager should be
proactive in their strategic thinking, have good business acumen, and exhibit excellent management,
communication, and analytical skills. Be able to make smart decisions that will be in the best
interests of the company and be skilled at negotiating business deals.

You will
● Support the implementation of the business strategy and identify a road map for business
development by working alongside the Head of the department and business development
executive.
● Be able to take the lead on client relationships but equally introduce to the team and ensure
robust client relationships management strategy/delivery
● Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning
● Analyzing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and
increase company profits
● Establish, build, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners in the
market by understanding their business focus and needs and anticipating them in advance
● Manage an up-to-date understanding of the market to help the business expand and venture
into new spaces.
● Push for innovation and change within the department and business.

Qualifications
Essential requirements
● Bachelor's degree in business management or administration, finance, accounting,
marketing, or related field
● Proven experience, at least 5 years working as a business development manager or a
similar role
● Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
● The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Desirable requirements
● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and management skills
● Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators.
● Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills
● Excellent communication skills
● Strong business acumen and an eye for detail
● The ability to travel as needed
