A RESOLUTION FOR REPAINTING OF BASKETBALL COURT FOR THE PREPARATION OF PALARONG
PAMBARANGAY AS PART OF THE ACTIVITIES FOR FIESTA CELEBRATION 2024.

WHEREAS, after a thorough deliberation, the body found out that it is needed for the implementation in
order to initiate programs designed to enhance the social, cultural, moral, and physical development of the
youth;

RESOLVED, as hereby resolved, to approve as it is hereby approved the 2024 Sanguniang Kabataan (SK) Plan
of Barangay Buac Gamay, Sogod, Southern Leyte.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to the Office of the Sanguniang Bayan,
Budget Officer, DILG and other concerned offices for information and favourable action.

TREASURER TO OPEN A CHECKING/CURRENT ACCOUNT - CASE TO CASE GOV’T INTEREST BEARING
– IN THE LANDBANK OF THE PHILIPPINE – SOGOD BRANCH :LIKEWISE TO BE THE OFFICIAL

WHEREAS, RA 10742 and its IRR, also known as Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, state that “Ten percent
(10%) of the general fund of the barangay shall be set aside for the SK. Such funds shall be disbursed in accordance with
the provision of RA7160 or the Local Government Code of 1991, and the RA 9184 or the Government Procurement

reform Act and such other pertinent rules and regulations.”

WHEREAS, it is also mandated b Sk Reform Act of 2015 that “.The Sk shall have financial independence in

its operation, disbursed and encashment of their funds, income and expenditures As such, the Sk funds shall
be deposited in the name of the SK of the concerned barangay on a government –owned bank situated in or
nearest to its area of jurisdiction with the Sk Chairperson and the Sk Treasurer as the official signatories.
WHEREAS, Hon. ARCHIE P. DIATE was elected by the Katipunan ng kabataan to be the SK Chairperson and
ELIZABETH L. NUEZ was appointed to be Sk Treasurer of brgy. Buac gamay;
RESOLVED, as it hereby resolves, to authorize the Sanggguniang kabataan of Buac Gamay to open a

checking/current account – case gov’t interest bearing – with the Landbank of the Philippine – Sogod Branch;

(DILG) Officer, this Municipality, for their information.
