Course Objectives:
To study and comprehend the typologies and functional interrelationships among various spaces and their planning in various multi-speciality
hospitals.
To introduce and develop comprehensive understanding of the various engineering services infrastructure deployed in hospital and their
management.

Module I: Introduction to Hospital Planning
To understand the Concept & Principles of Hospital Planning, Typologies, Morphology and the various Design Criteria 20%
and Parameters of Modern Multi-specialty Hospitals.
Pedagogy for Course Delivery: Fundamental theories shall be delivered through Lectures and Presentations. Students Group Presentations on Literature and
Case Studies shall be done in Tutorials.
