Yes I noticed that I encountered challenges trying to maintain sustainable habits like
using reusable products. Based on my experience, bringing a water bottle helps me save
money from buying drinks outside and helps me keep hydrated but the downside when it comes
to this is bringing a water bottle with me everyday isn’t very realistic for me because I usually
forget and don’t like bringing my water bottle since it’s kind of big. When I’m just in my house
sure, using reusable products is fairly easy but when I’m outside it’s usually a matter of
convenience since if we compared a reusable water bottle to a disposable one the reusable
bottle we need to keep and set aside after we finish all of it’s content. But for the disposable one
we can simply throw it away after we finish drinking and not have to think about where we
should put the bottle. While tracking my habits I learned that I usually stick to what is most
convenient to me during that time and I learned that I should be more aware of my actions and
their possible effects on our environment. Because as individuals we need to be able to do our
part in order for us to be able to take care of our planet, because if we don't then pollution,
global warming, and other negative effects will continue to happen at an accelerated rate.
Personally I think we can educate people by posting more on social media because especially
during our era majority of the people spend a lot of time on social media platforms and if we can
post educational content there that would isn't boring to the people then maybe we will be able
to educate them on these topics.
