Learning Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students must be able to:
Identify basic information such as: name, parents, birthday, age, address, and school;
Cite basic information about oneself;
Give an importance of knowing basic information.
Engage: The teacher will introduce itself by stating his/her: name, parents, birthday, age, address, and
school.
Explain: Introduce the concept of basic information, starting with name, age, address, parents name,
school, and birthday.
Activity: The learners will introduce themselves in front of the class using the basic information
including their hobbies. The teacher will divide the class into 5 groups and each group will showcase their
talents by: singing or dancing. (it may vary depending on the students)
Modification for Students with Special Needs: They will be guided by their teacher or classmates.
Check for Understanding: Ask the students a question “What is the importance of knowing our own
basic information?”, make sure to call every students to participate.
Assessment: Have the students match the items that are being flashed on the screen.
Closure: Briefly review the key points of the lesson: Basic Information: Name, Age, Birthday,
Parent/Guardian’s Name, Address, and School.
