Access to AMCEC e-Library is Live!!!

The following e-Resources are IP based and accessible with-in and outside the campus as well. The Faculty, Research
Scholars & Students can avail the benefits of accessing the same through Publishers URLs as mentioned below with-in the
campus. However, accessibility from outside the campus from any-where & any time on Mobile too can be availed through
Remote access features KNIMBUS access E- Library Platform as per the subscription with VTU-Consortium for the year
2024

Newly admitted students and members of the faculty are however informed to do self-Registration by SIGN UP in the link
https://amcecb.knimbus.com/ and while registration please enter your full name and your email and give your
choice password example (user@knimbus) to ensure that the Registered Students / Faculty are Bonafide members of
the Library, after approved by Librarian, the ID and Password of the Newly Registered Members will automatically get on
their E-Mail.

 Further Students & the Faculty members are informed that they can have Remote-access of AMCEC-Library (80184
Physical Books availability) on any desktop/computers or Android Mobile too. Please click on the
link http://amcec.easylib.net Login ID and password are their Library card number or USN number (Students
& Faculty Login access credentials) Search for any book in “SEARCH BOX’ in Web-OPAC screen, search by author,
title, keyword, publisher & subject, books can be reserved, current book transaction status can be checked, etc. Status of the
book: whether the book is available on shelf or issued. Number of copies available in library. Click on particular title and
check the availability of the required book you want to reserve.
Download of Question papers - Department wise arrangements are made at Digital Library. Click on EBT in Shortcut
options in Web-OPAC screen, Select EBooks (Question papers /E-Journals) by type, department or title and download the
copies. If you find any problem in accessing these facilities you are advised to contact Librarian, AMCEC/E-Mail-

Special Note: Maximum usage of Library Books /E-Books/ E-Journals by the Students and Faculty will be awarded with
“BEST LIBRARY USER AWARD” every academic year.

Remote Access Facility through Knimbus e-Library Portal

AMCEC Library is using Knimbus eLibrary portal from August 2023, which provides their users all the
knowledge available through the library on any device from anywhere. Knimbus platform is a complete
Digital library that provides all library services through a single platform rather than just being a list of
links to separate publisher platforms. The embedded remote access feature of Knimbus makes all resource
links in the eLibrary including A-Z eCatalog, Browse, Search and Remote Access pages work seamlessly
whether the user is on campus or somewhere else and requires zero setup by the users.

The Mobile eLibrary App mLibrary offers a multi-format, content delivery App for users to consume
eBook collections, eCourse materials, latest journal issues and multimedia learning content. Patrons can
access the entire library on their smart phone from anywhere, at anytime. The Mobile eLibary App
integrate the OPAC records so that patrons can check the availability of physical books. Knimbus Mobile
App is available for both Android and iOS. A smartphone with internet connectivity is required to use the
Mobile App.

Knimbus eLibrary is a cloud-based solution. Users require a good internet connectivity. Knimbus eLibrary
Platform is built using leading edge frameworks like parallel processing and open source tools to ensure
tremendous performance, responsiveness, scalability and user friendliness.

already mailed to all users and please check Knimbus.com link in SPAM & JUNK Files in your mail and press
the link.
