I am a final year student pursuing Economics at Lady Shri Ram College for Women. I am writing
with great enthusiasm to express my sincere interest to join CHANAKYA CAPITAL. Guided by the
firm’s philosophy, performance and vision, I am excited about the prospect of contributing my
skills and experiences to your esteemed organization.
My journey through academia and internships has fortified my financial acumen and instilled a
profound passion for finance. I have cleared Financial Risk Management (FRM) all levels and
currently pursuing CFA. In my last internship with Saturn Consulting group I worked on the NRI
division, helping them in Investments in India and presented several research reports on major
market events. Preceding this, I undertook meaningful roles with GFI India, where I led
microfinance projects in partnership with the World Bank and Amazon India. In a subsequent
engagement with angel funds, I collaborated closely with numerous startups, skillfully crafting
pitch decks and nurturing business ideas that translated into successful fundraising endeavours,
with one startup, Nake, raising $10,000.
During my tenure as the Finance Director of the LSRMUN society, I adeptly raised a substantial
5 lakhs, dismantling the barriers that typically surround extracurricular activities. As the
President of CRY, I spearheaded pivotal menstrual hygiene projects across 20+ government
schools, spearheading fundraising efforts that generated 3 lakhs for the establishment of a
biodegradable reusable pad culture in GTB Nagar and the provision of clean water supplies in
Ghazipur. Throughout these and other PORs in college, my ability to consistently optimize
outcomes for all stakeholders has remained unwavering.
Additionally, I co-founded FoodMood, a startup committed to combatting food wastage within
the hospitality industry. Our dedication was acknowledged with a grant of INR 200,000 from the
LSE Startup Incubator.
My passion for finance which started with reading Peter Lynch books and then listening and
studying legends this domain, has made me confident in pursuing Finance as a career cause
this is something I want to do all throughout my life.
I wholeheartedly believe that my ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments,
combined with my unyielding passion for finance, would uniquely qualify me to be a part of the
team at Chanakya Capital. I am invigorated by the prospect of leveraging my talents,
experiences, and fervor to contribute to the firm’s continued success within asset management
sector.
