ABSTRACT
The term bioremediation has been introduced to describe the process of using
biological agent to remove toxic waste from environment. Bioremediation is the
most effective management tool to manage the polluted environment and recover
contaminated soil. Bioremediation is a natural process and it therefore perceived
by the public as an acceptable waste treatment process for contaminated materials
such as soil. In addition to pollutants and toxicants released from industries that
continuously affect the environment, in other words, it is a technology for
removing pollutants from the environments thus, restoring the original natural
surrounding and preventing further pollution. Also, microbes are very helpful to
remediate the contaminated environment, number of microbes includes aerobes,
anaerobes and fungi are involved in bioremediation process. Bioremediation and
natural attention are also seen as a solution for emerging contaminant problems.
