traditionally weave a sacred
cloth called the t’nalak,
woven from abaca fibers.
They work on a design
perceived through their
dreams, therefore acquiring
their title Dream weavers.

History”, which is a
controversial mixed media
artwork, is a political satire on
the cyclical political crisis and
corruption in the Philippine
government. The vaginal form is
carved on a metamorphic rock
and painted with red, blue and
yellow to signify the Philippine

PERFORMANCE TASK 3:
Contemporary art can be inspiring for people. To develop
your artistic abilities, choose only one (1) activity below
that you want to do.
1. Make a sculptor using clay with the theme
“Animals”.
2. Stone painting with the theme “Nature”
3. Watercolor painting with the theme “Why I love
about myself?”
4. Ink painting (ballpen, pentel pen etc.) with the
theme “Death”
5. Acrylic painting on cloth with the theme “Love”
