Project Details

Implementing D365, Azure Cloud Database Aug 2020 - May 2023

and Integrating with SAP ECC
Client Name: Pelsis
In this project, we successfully executed the implementation of Microsoft
Dynamics D365 and Azure cloud database for SAP ECC. The integration flow
encompassed merging vendor, item master, purchase order (PO) and sales order
(SO), as well as inventory and bill of materials (BOM) data from D365 to SAP
ECC. Furthermore, we redesigned and introduced several new procedures within
the PO, including the shipment process, consignment and freight management,
and artwork cost adoption.

1. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the source system (a non-SAP

system) by analyzing its nature and configuration.
2. Compile a list of all the fields necessary for integrating specific master or
transaction data from the target system, and conduct brainstorming sessions
to comprehend the characteristics of these fields.
3. Perform field mapping, ensuring all fields involved in the integration are
appropriately matched.
4. Conduct a thorough comparison of the structure of master and transaction
data between the systems.
5. Determine the JSON format and endpoints required for seamless integration
development.
6. Align the business processes between the systems and identify any existing
gaps.
7. Configure the SAP ECC system according to the integration design,
addressing any identified gaps.
8. Develop suitable ABAP queries for extracting data during the data migration
process.
9. Identify potential gaps in user and process control within the target systems.
10. Establish new integration log tables to effectively manage and track errors
that may occur during the integration process.

SIPCHEM OneSAP (SAP Merger) Jun 2019 - Aug 2020

Client Name: SIPCHEM & Sahara Petrochemicals
During SIPCHEM's acquisition of Sahara Petrochemical, we successfully merged
two separate SAP systems into a unified platform. Additionally, we undertook the
redesign and implementation of various new procedures, including shipment,
consignment, and intercompany activities, to ensure smooth operations within the
integrated system. Furthermore, we implemented SAP MDG (Master Data
Governance) to establish a streamlined one-step master data flow between the
two companies, enhancing data management and consistency.

In the SAP Merger project, I was actively involved in various tasks and
responsibilities to ensure a successful integration of SAP systems. Some of the
key activities I performed include:
1. System Analysis: Conducted a comprehensive analysis of the existing SAP
systems of the merging companies to understand their configurations,
processes, and data structures.
2. Data Mapping and Transformation: Collaborated with the team to map and
transform data from the merging companies' SAP systems, ensuring
seamless integration and consistency.
3. Business Process Alignment: Worked closely with stakeholders to align and
harmonize business processes across the merged SAP system, identifying
and addressing any gaps or conflicts.
4. Configuration and Customization: Utilized my expertise in SAP modules to
configure and customize the merged SAP system, aligning it with the unique
requirements of the new organization.
5. Data Migration: Planned and executed the migration of data from the legacy
systems to the merged SAP system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
throughout the process.
6. Testing and Quality Assurance: Developed test scenarios and conducted
rigorous testing to validate the functionality and performance of the integrated
SAP system. Collaborated with the team to identify and resolve any issues or
defects.
7. User Training and Support: Provided training sessions to end-users on the
new SAP system, ensuring they were equipped with the necessary skills to
effectively utilize the system. Offered post-implementation support to address
any user queries or issues.
8. Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Created comprehensive
documentation, including system configurations, process flows, and user
guides, to facilitate knowledge transfer and enable smooth system
maintenance.
9. Project Management: Actively participated in project meetings, coordinated
with cross-functional teams, and contributed to project planning, monitoring,
and reporting to ensure timely delivery and successful project outcomes.
Through my contributions in the SAP Merger project, I played a vital role in
enabling a seamless integration of SAP systems, ensuring the new organization
could operate efficiently and effectively with a unified SAP platform.
