WEEK 12 |grand teaching preparations

Monday, April 8, 2024

Today involved both instructional

facilitation and assessment preparation. In the
ICT class, I facilitated a session focused on a
specific topic, guiding students through various
concepts and practical exercises to enhance
their understanding and skills in information
and communication technology. Additionally, I
dedicated time to preparing exam papers,
ensuring that assessments were
comprehensive, aligned with learning objectives,
and designed to effectively evaluate student
knowledge and mastery of the subject matter.
By balancing instructional facilitation with
assessment preparation, I aimed to provide
students with engaging learning experiences
while also maintaining academic rigor and
accountability in their assessments. This holistic
approach to teaching and assessment
contributes to fostering student growth and
success in their academic journey.

Today involved teaching sessions in Grade 7

and Grade 8, along with the implementation of
Classroom-Based Action Research (CBAR)
survey. In Grade 7, I focused on the value of
"Katapatan" (Honesty), engaging students in
discussions and activities that highlighted the
importance of truthfulness and integrity in
various aspects of life. Through interactive
lessons and real-life examples, students were
encouraged to reflect on the significance of
honesty and its impact on personal and societal
well-being. Moving on to Grade 8, the lesson
centered on "Paggalang sa Awtoridad" (Respect
for Authority), where students explored the
concept of respect and its relevance in
different authority figures and institutions. By
facilitating discussions and role-playing
scenarios, students gained insights into the
value of respecting authority and
understanding its role in maintaining order and
harmony in society. In addition to teaching
sessions, I also implemented a CBAR survey, a
vital component of professional development.
This survey allowed me to gather valuable
feedback from students,providing insights into
classroom practices, student engagement, and
areas for improvement. By leveraging CBAR, I
aimed to enhance teaching effectiveness and
promote student success through evidence-
based strategies and interventions.
