LEARNING TASK 3:

MANAGING MY CLASSROOM STRUCTURE AND ROUTINES

PERFORMING MY TEACHING LEARNING ACTIVITIES

WRITING REFLECTION

Reflecting on my path as a pre-service elementary teacher, I've truly grasped the

importance of managing classroom routines. Initially, I saw routines as just a way to keep

things organized, but now I realize they're the heartbeat of the classroom.

For young students, routines offer more than just structure; they provide a comforting

sense of predictability. Seeing their faces light up when they know what to expect is

priceless. Through trial and error, I've seen how well-managed routines lead to smoother

days, less stress, and more time for actual teaching. But it's not just about logistics; routines

teach kids valuable life skills. They learn about responsibility, teamwork, and self-

discipline. As I imagine my own classroom one day, I envision it as a place where routines

create a supportive community where every child feels safe to learn and grow.

So, as I continue on this journey toward becoming an elementary teacher, I'm

committed to perfecting my approach to routines. Because in the end, it's not just about

managing a classroom; it's about nurturing young minds and creating a foundation for

lifelong learning.
