Reflecting on your knowledge of the different leadership styles presented, analyze the
situation below and reflect on the questions that follow.

Were you able to identify the action step that must have been taken by the
training team to facilitate the conduct of the staff orientation workshop?

Yes, democratic leadership could have been applied, this is also known as
participative letting multiple people participate in the decision making process. Coaching
leadership could also be applied to see the strengths and weaknesses of individual team
member.

Study the situation below and consider the questions that follow?

Teacher J was designated as School Property Officer prior to your reassignment as the
newly-installed school head. During one of your conferences, Teacher J handed to you a
letter of resignation without farther explanation. You have accepted the letter and went on
the conference but a heated argument ensued between Teacher J and the BAC
Chairperson. Both were at the peak of their anger exchanging harsh words against each
other unmindful that there is an ongoing conference.

As school head, how will you deal with the situation? What should have been done to
stop the heated argument?

As a school head, I should let them explain why they behave like that know the cause
of the argument weight the reasons of both party. Patience and integrity is the virtue that has
been exercise in this situation.

Let them speak to air their side and let them be clarified because usually, arguments
are caused by misunderstanding and, as a leader convinced them that we are talking for
clarification and so we should be civilized in our action.

My strengths are Domains 2 and 3

What is/are the most pressing need/s that I must address? Are you aware of the
things that you need to do in order to address them?

The most pressing needs that I must address in our school is providing internet connection,
and providing water supply.

Read the situation below and reflect on it.

One of your co-teachers was tested positive of Covid-19. As advised by the Municipal
Medical Officer, all the personnel in your school shall undergo home quarantine. Considering
the bulk of work which will to be done through an alternative Work-from home Arrangement
(AWA), think about the action steps that you would take to ensure continuous school
operation.

To ensure continuous school operation even one of my teacher was tested positive
of Covid-19, we will adopt alternative work arrangement were schedule of teachers will be
arranged in a way that some of the teachers will be in school twice a week while others are
working at home.

We will also ask the support and cooperation of parents and people in the
community to facilitate the distribution and retrieval of modules.
