IM: How are your staff managing their time sir, are you in regular touch with them

Client: Some of them have left for their hometown & some are locals at home

IM: They should be having tough times to staying at home, you should be in regular touch with them
even.

Conduct of Business

Im: with the lockdown of business, entire working have come to standstill , still there are few parts of
business, which can still run at the current scenario, if you are willing to discuss

Client: My entire staff are at their home , they may not even respond at this time

IM: Sir, we are also a business unit, our entire promotion team, servicing team & finance teams are
working and business is still happening at a better pace than last week for sure. We are using simple
technologies which are free & available for public use. We are using google hangouts to connect with
our team members, we can share docs, excel & even make presentations, in your case we can connect
to share list of customers , where your production team, can be in touch with customers & assure them
of supply once lockdown is complete, accounts team can be in touch for collection of outstanding, they
can use our paywith indiamart option to collect outstanding payments, if they are willing to pay now.

Engagement of Clients Buyers & suppliers :

Im: Sir, are you in touch with your existing customers & suppliers, am sure they have more time on hand
and not many of them would be in touch with them, we should connect with them regularly , this will
also help deepen the relationship & probably extract better business with them

Client: yeah am in regular touch with them , not everyone but mostly am in touch
IM: this strategy also works for new customers, in fact there is no better time to increase pipeline for
new customers, there is lot of time available to do more discussion on product design, pricing &
planning, we can have a healthy discussion & be in touch with them, once lockdown ends , we can
convert a good percentage of these clients into business , if we can remain in touch with them regularly.

Client: But in this time who is going to enquire for products?

IM: Many businessmen are now in the process of identifying better source for their requirements. Even
IM has seen a drastic increase in traffic and we do have allocated 30% extra buyleads to all our client to
cater the increased requirement.

Client: But am not seeing any lead inflow for my products?

IM: Am sending you the list of available buy leads to you right away so that you can make use of it.

What IM doing during this lockdown :

IM: We are spending more time on customer servicing during this period, our production team is now
not loaded with new catalog designs so now they are spending more time on enriching existing
customer catalogs. Based on your inputs we can support in addition, deletion and enrichment of your
company catalog as well. We have allocated 30% more buyleads so that your purchase pattern will give
inputs to my promotion team and they can ensure better relevancy of queries. We as servicing team are

get affected and now the country is already on the road to recovery and new cases are not being
reported from there. Their govt has announced new measures to increase business and even stock
markets are now recovering in china. Wuhan is opening after 2 months of lock down. After lockdown
we are going to continue the business as usual and We should invest now to be prepared once the
lockdown here in India is lifted.
