Routine administrative tasks such as starting and stopping

resources.
Able to troubleshoot and resolve basic issues such as
8 startup failures, connectivity problems, or application
deployment errors.
Able to create and manage user accounts, roles, and
9 permissions within WebSphere Application Server to control
access and security.
Configuration of JDBC Provider, Data Sources, JMS
10 Resources, Service Integration Bus for seamless integration
with database and message providers.
Able to monitor server performance metrics, such as CPU
11 usage, memory consumption, and response times, and
reporting any anomalies or performance issues.
 Review and analyse server logs to identify errors, warnings,
12 or other issues that may affect the server or application
performance.
Configure security settings such as SSL certificates,

authentication mechanisms, and authorization policies.
Applying patches, updates, and fixes to WebSphere

Application.
Keeping up to date with the latest security patches,

Integrating WebSphere Application Server with web servers,

load balancing, caching, and SSL termination.
Configuring WebSphere Application Server for high
availability, including setting up server clusters, load

balancing, and failover mechanisms to ensure uninterrupted
application availability.

3 Good knowledge on IIS architecture / Integration with .NET
Good knowledge on web request flow from - to client, web

farms, web gardens
Having good experience in Installation, Configuration,
5 Deploying Application (.NET), Troubleshooting, Patching,
performance tuning and Maintenance.
Configure JDBC Providers, Data Sources, Virtual Hosting,

Global Security, SSL, LDAP.
Work with the Network team to configure websites for high
7
availability and load balancing.
Analysing application, IIS log files and event viewer based on

the incident and diagnose the problems.
Troubleshoot problems related to web server/app server

S.No Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities

He will be responsible for Installation, upgradation,
1
configuration setup of Red Hat OpenShift
Troubleshoot issues with worker nodes, maintenance, and
2
scaleout tasks.
Performing Maintenance activities on cluster line
3 performing patching, configuration changes, installing
operators etc.
LDAP sync configuration, adding and removing users and
4
assigning roles to groups users.
Create, Modify & delete of projects. Assign project specific
5
roles to users groups.
Assist application team on resolving issues with pods like
6
crash loopback, image pull back and other errors.
Assist in implementing best practices to configure readiness
7
and liveness probes.
Create, Modify and delete network policy rules based on
8
customer requirement.
Service accounts management, role creation and assigning
9
roles.
Assign, modify and remove roles (cluster and project) to
10
users and groups.
Monitor registry storage and perform regular cleanup.
11 Assist application team in pushing required images to
OpenShift cluster.
Create, Modify SCC based on custom requirements and
12
assign to specific projects.
Configure, modify project quotas and limit ranges. Assist
13
application team on issues with quotas and limits.
Perform certificate management when the existing
14
certificates are expired and when needed.
Check cluster utilization and share reports to business
15 when needed. Forecast capacity growth requirement and
handle capacity increase.
Perform Daily health check of cluster and fix issues based

on observations.
Implement and customize Grafana dashboards if required

to effectively monitor the cluster
Backup of critical configuration and DB when needed or

before any maintenance activities.
Planning and platform patching and upgrade with Zero

downtime.
Customize master and node configurations post

deployment of OpenShift to meet requirements.
 Implement ADLDAP sync for each environment and also

implement automated sync of the groups.
Post OpenShift deployment, configure OpenShift platform
22 to use custom SSL certificates provided by customer for
console and application URL.
