With reference to your application #12239 dated 03/04/2024 on the subject, it is informed that the
Eastern Mediterranean University’ is a chartered university of Cyprus . The Master of Science in
Interior Architecture degree held by you from the Eastern Mediterranean University can be
considered equivalent to Master’s degree involving 18 years of schooling/M.Phil in the general
stream from Pakistan. However, for practicing the Architect profession in Pakistan, you need to get
registration/endorsement from The Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP).

Keeping in view the Data protection Acts requirement at foreign universities and in order to
ascertain the genuineness of your degree, you are requested to please contact your university to
verify your award/degree via an e-mail directly to HEC at fe-degree-verification@hec.gov.pk for final
equivalence letter. The confirmation can also be sent/posted under university’s sealed envelope
(addressed to Foreign Equivalence section, Higher Education Commission H-9, Islamabad) or
through a fax from university to +9251-90400902 within 45 days of issuance of this letter. Please do
not forget to mention your equivalence Application ID while writing to university.
