Greetings and warm wishes to you all on Bahrain National Day –A

grand day which reminds us of numerous aspects associated with

Bahrain. Good Morning respected Director sir-Mr Himanshu
Verma ,Director ma’am-Mrs.Ritu Verma,Principal sir-Mr.Saji
Jacob, teachers students and online viewers. It gives me immense
pleasure to share insights on this peaceful and beautiful land
Bahrain
This is a landmark year for all of us as we are reaching a
milestone in the journey of our bilateral relations. India and
Kingdom of Bahrain are celebrating the Golden Jubilee of the
establishment of diplomatic relations.
Though the diplomatic relation between India and the Kingdom
of Bahrain has been established for the past 50 years, our two
countries share warm and friendly bilateral relations and its
people to people connect goes far back in the history. The trade
relations can be traced back to 5000 years ago to the Dilmun
civilization of Bahrain and Indus valley civilization of India. The
deep cultural connect between India and Bahrain is showcased in
the LITTLE INDIA where the contributions of Indian community to
the history and progress of Bahrain is manifested and the 200
years old Shreenathji temple both in Manama

I am very happy to remark that the Indian origin people are the largest
foreign community in Bahrain.. The Arabic culture is very rich and
welcoming. We are always, and will always be welcomed here with an open
heart.
Bahraini philosophy of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence is one
of the best examples.. The locals are mostly friendly and liberal
people allowing us to socialize the way we like. Bahrain doesn't impose any
particular dress for its citizens. We can wear our own dress as per our
comfort. The Indian community in Bahrain is permitted a great deal of
freedom for social and religious activities There are a number of worship
places of different religions including 200 year old Hindu Temple, 5
churches and 6 gurudwaras Indians are freely allowed to follow their
culture, traditions and beliefs and not only Indians but also other
nationalities as well. All cultures are welcomed here with a feeling of
freedom.

All major Indian festivals are celebrated in Bahrain with zeal and
vigor which are not only participated by Indians but also by
Bahrainis including members of the royal family, with equal
enthusiasm. The Diwali I celebrate in India is the same I do in
Bahrain and I am sure you feel the same too!
In accordance to this there are some societies also formed by the
Indians in Bahrain which offers the radiant vibe of India
The country's oldest and largest Indian social club is the Indian
Club with over 4,000 members. The Bahrain Keraleeya
Samajam was established in 1947. the Bahrain India Society was
launched in December 2007, to promote ties between the two
countries.,
Due to Indians calling this island home since long, there is
nothing we won't get here that we get back home in India There
are plenty of fabulous restaurants available to enjoy the Indian
delicacies, With a wide range, from North to the South Indian
cuisine.
Bahrain, in general, offers good living and working conditions to
its expatriate communities. They also display a higher level of
cultural accommodation as compared to other countries in the
region. We feel very liberated here! We are given equal
opportunities at jobs, employment, business and access to all
local services. The Indians enjoy a good reputation in terms of
their conduct, loyalty and higher productivity .We are treated and
given the same amount of respect as the local citizens which
makes us feel very equal.
The locals are very affable and obliging people, ready to help
whenever needed they have the same sense of admiration and
respect like we have for them. This balance in nature enables a
good relation between the Bahrainis and the Indians.
Education is also a key point, which reflects in more than 7
schools following CBSE pattern We Indians feel very safe and
secure here! Not only do we have rights there are also other
factors that affect our lives positively, such as its lifestyle, its
privileged location, the mild weather, and its friendly people
I consider myself very fortunate to be a part of this peaceful and
tolerant country. Bahrain and its people have made such an
environment that is nothing less than back home in India. I thank
the leadership of the Kingdom and its people for looking after us
and making us feel at home here. Bahrain will always be a heart of
gold to us, Indians and of course our 2 nd motherland!
