Subject: Letter of Intent for Master class online Training

Ministry of Education has requested the different university to send master class
trainees by a reference letter of “Ref No: 8/242/773/15” dated on “September 23/2015
E.C”. Based on the requirements stipulated in the TOR, I believe that I satisfy the
predefined requirements and showing my intent to take the TOT.

My Name is Kassu Jilcha Sileye (PhD) who is serving under the school of Mechanical
and Industrial Engineering in Addis Ababa Institute of Technology, Addis Ababa
University. I am teaching, advising and mentoring undergraduate (BSc) to postgraduate
(MSc and PhD) students in the institute. I have exposure of online teaching, training
and mentoring students in the so far, specifically during Cov-19 enforcement. I have
been teaching, training and mentoring students for over 10 years in Addis Ababa, Wollo
and Adama Science and Technology universities. In addition, the training I have taken
for the fulfillment of teaching methodology in higher diploma program (HDP) has
given me the freedom how to teach and evaluate students.

In general, I have a numbers of experiences in teaching Bsc, Msc and advising PhD
students in AAU and other universities. I have provided training to different universities
students and industries workers. The research work exposure I have and community
engagement has also honored me much experience to manage concurrent activities at
the same time. Particularly, being from technology institute, I have exposure to digital
technology and working with plenty of software supported teaching in developing and
designing different technological models. For further reference, I attached my resume
with this letter of intent.

Therefore, I think I am the best fit to the master class online training and to provide
service after the completion of training for AAU and other universities’ trainees.
