SOPs for PLSP Master Trainers

1. Participation in the Pakistan Life Savers Programme (PLSP) is completely voluntary with
no financial or any other monetary benefits.
2. A Master Trainer should commit four (4) hours per month for the programme. This will
include conduction and/or monitoring of a PLSP training session.
3. To ensure the quality and uniformity of the programme, the Master Trainers must follow
the PLSP training curriculum and should not deviate from it at anytime while conducting
a training session.
4. The Master Trainers should be professionally dressed during the training sessions ideally
wearing the “PLSP T-Shirts” provided by the secretariat.
5. A Master Trainer must ensure timely submission of relevant reports & checklists.
6. A Master Trainer should ensure 75 % attendance in meetings organized by the PLSP
secretariat.
7. A Master Trainer must ensure quality of the course & training session by giving
designated practice time to every participant to learn the skills of CPR & Bleeding
Control.
8. A Master Trainer must ensure timely and appropriate completion of evaluation of every
participant at the end of training session.
9. A Master Trainer must ensure an inclusive learning environment through mutual respect.
10. To improve the quality of the programme, the Master Trainers can give their feedback
and suggestions to the PLSP secretariat.
11. While sharing the updates regarding PLSP on social media, the Master Trainers are
encouraged to tag “PLSP” on relevant social media pages.
12. Although, transportation may be provided by the PLSP secretariat for some
venues/training sites, it’s the responsibility of the Master Trainer to commute to the
training site.
13. Although, the PLSP secretariat will try to ensure the safety of its Master Trainers, the
secretariat cannot guarantee an occurrence of an unexpected illness/accident and its
consequences thereafter.
