How can we call someone a good citizen ? It’s not easy to answer a question like this . However ,
let’s agree that if you want to be a good citizen , you have to be a good person first . A good person is
someone who is aware of his rights , duties and responsibilities towards his family , his neighbours ,
his friends and his community in general . So , we can say that when some one has principles , ethics
and morals , he can be a good citizen .
I belive that there are many things that reflect you being a good citizen in in your country . When
you help others and volunteer to provide your services to them on your own free will , in this case you
are agood citizen . When you help the poor and pay money for charities and orphanages , in this case
you are a good person . When you obey the rules of the traffic and government laws in general , you
are a good citizen . A good citizen helps the elders and young children . He treats people with respect
and preserves the dignity of others . He also protects and keeps his environment clean .
To sum up , don’t violate the rights of others . Respect others opinion.
