ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We feel great pleasure to present the project stage I entitled “DESIGN AND
MANUFACTURING OF WHEEL CHANGING MACHINE”. But it would be unfair on
our part if we do not acknowledge the efforts of some of the people without the support of
whom, this project work would not have been a success.
First and for most we are very much thankful to our respected Guide Prof. R. S.
Khandare for his leading guidance in this project work. Also, he has been a persistent
source of inspiration to us, we would like to express our sincere thanks to our project
coordinator Mr. K. R. Pagar and all faculties for their guidance and support during the
project work. We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. C. D.
Mohod (HOD) for his valuable support. Also, we would like to express our special thanks
to our Honorable Principal Dr. N.G. Nikam for his encouragement during the work.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Department of Mechanical
Engineering, Guru Gobind College of Engineering and Research Centre, Nashik, for
providing various facilities for completing project work.
Most importantly we would like to express our sincere gratitude towards our Friends &
Family for always being there when we needed them most.

ABSTRACT

The trucking industry serves as the backbone of global commerce, requiring

efficiency, mobility, and safety in its daily operations. The transportation industry relies
heavily on the swift and efficient maintenance of truck tires to ensure the uninterrupted
flow of goods and services. However, changing truck tires, particularly in remote locations
or under adverse conditions, has posed a significant challenge. In response, we present a
groundbreaking innovation: the DESING AND MANUFACTURING WHEEL
CHNAGING MACHINE”. Developed to address the complex challenges of tire
maintenance for heavy-duty vehicles, the device we design will offers a robust and compact
solution for truck drivers, fleet operators, and roadside service providers. This portable
device has been meticulously designed to address the unique demands of the trucking
industry, offering a compact and user-friendly solution that enhances productivity while
prioritizing safety. It combines advanced technology with ease of use, making tire
replacement a seamless process for truck drivers, fleet operators, and roadside service
providers.
