Purpose: This sets out the safe operation procedure for Glazing Process.

Authorization
Only trained personnel.

Glazing

1. Workers shall wear suitable attire and personal protective equipment as required.
2. Practice safe lifting technique for manual handling.
3. All chemical used must be label especially secondary container and shall be kept at a designated
storage area after work.
4. Glazing transporter should not push trolley at high speed.
5. Transporter should park the trolley at the designated area only. Do not block the Fire Door
access, Fire Extinguisher and other clearance area.
6. Place the wares stable and properly on the conveyor basket.

Inspector / Checker

1. To wear suitable attire and personal protective equipment as required.

2. Use suitable chemical glove and mask when work with chemicals.
3. All chemical used must be label especially secondary container and shall be kept at a designated
storage area after work.

Drying

1. When any worker is working inside the dryer, the dryer door must be opened, until the worker is out of
the dryer.
2. Employee shall not hang clothes, shoes or other personnel belonging inside the dryer or near the
burner.
3. No flammable items eg. Wood, paper to be left over or on top of the burner.
4. To make sure no one inside the dryer before close the door by shouting to alert them.
5. Nothing can be kept inside other than related to process.
