2, Với động từ thường

+, S + V(nguyên dạng) : I/chủ ngữ số nhiều ( we/they/you)

V (s/es) : chủ ngữ số ít (he/she/it)

(-) S + am/is/are + not + Ving

QUI TẮC THÊM S/ES/IES VÀO ĐỘNG TỪ Ở THÌ HIỆN TẠI ĐƠN

1, Kết thúc bằng -o,-s,-z,-ch,-x,-sh,-ss => V+(-es)

Eg: go, do, miss, coach, fix, watch, wash, kiss, buzz, pass

2, Kết thúc bằng một phụ âm -y => đổi -y thành -i+es

Eg: cry, dry, study, fly, copy

3, Kết thúc bằng một nguyên âm -y => V +(-s)

Eg: buy, play, say

4, Động từ bất qui tắc : have => đổi thành has

Nếu chủ ngữ là “I” or là ở dạng số nhiều thì ĐT “have” giữ nguyên

Nếu chủ ngữ ở dạng số ít thì “have” đổi thành “has”

5, Những động từ còn lại => V+(s)

 Eg : cook, learn, plan, grow, sing, get, draw, jump, tend, sleep, start, begin,….

Eg: My father……..(watch) news at 7 p.m every day.

1, Dùng để diễn tả những hành động THƯỜNG XUYÊN xảy ra,
LẶP ĐI LẶP LẠI nhiều lần ở HIỆN TẠI

2, Dùng để diễn tả THÓI QUEN ở HIỆN TẠI
Vd: My sister often…….. (sleep) late at night and gets up later in the next morning

3, Dùng để diễn tả CHÂN LÝ, SỰ THẬT HIỂN NHIÊN

III, Dấu hiệu nhận biết

+, Always(luôn luôn), usually, often, frequently(thường xuyên),
